How do I heal myself internally from scalding water I used in a sitz bath?
Posted under Cure For Hemorrhoid by adminI’m trying to cure internal hemorrhoids. I used water that was too hot, for way too long and burned myself in there. What is best for a scalded anus and rectum.
You should be seen by a physician immediately. Tissue damage can result in infection, scar tissue and complications, depending on the degree of burn, none of which you want to have. Using hot water will not cure your internal hemorrhoids anyway. Using warm water will help in symptom relief which, in itself, improves blood flow and helps in the healing process, but used alone, rarely will fully repair internal hemorrhoids. I’d definitely avoid all heat application until you have this looked at.
Once you get the attention for the scalded tissue handled, its best to learn precisely how internal hemorrhoids form and what tools are available to you to deal with them long term. There are many ranging from surgical (for more advanced cases) to commercial products to homemade remedies. Each varies in effectiveness, but most can be handled at home.

If the water was actually scalding Johnny, you should go to the Emergency Room right away since you could have done severe damage to your internals and if you are not treated immediately you could end up needing a colostomy bag for life or a very long time.
