How to get rid of a hemorrhoid?

Posted under Cure For Hemorrhoid by admin

I have tried preparation H cream and suppositories for a week- no help
I did all the other stuff like diet change.
I want to cure the actual hemorrhoid. I have heard from two people that Desitin worked for them. My doc put me on Anucort HC (Anusol HC) suppositories. I assume they won’t help either but we’ll see. Does anyone have any medicine that worked at shrinking theirs away??

THanks!

  1. Peter s Said,

    Hi Nalee,
I would just like to clear up two points for you after reading what other people wrote here.
Point1 Surgery is the very last thing you should consider for two very good reasons one hemorrhoids can and do come back after surgery.Secondly every operation is a risk and this is an unnecessary risk.

Point 2 Do not Take HOT sitz baths that’s the worse thing you could do for you hemorrhoids they will swell up and become more painful.

If you are going to use sitz baths the correct way is; Do not use HOT water as this will have exactly the opposite effect of what you want. Sitz bath is a form of bathing where the bottom and hips are immersed in warm or cold water for a period of time, 15 – 20 minutes is ideal.

Sitz baths are best for cleansing the area while cool sitz baths help to ease swelling and can even help with constipation. A simple trick is to add salt, or baking soda to the water and allow yourself to soak in the water, this trick works to clean the affected area as well as relieving pain.

Don’t add soap to the water as this can be irritating if you have any type of anal infection or irritation, afterwards dry the affected area with a soft towel.

To answer your question, how to get rid of hemorrhoids, there is no one easy answer but we can get rid of them. The use of creams pills and suppositories will not get rid of them for you they will ease the effects sooth the pain maybe, but all they are doing is treating the effects of the hemorrhoids.

What you need to do is treat what caused the hemorrhoids in the first place logical isn’t it :-)
So how do we do that very simple go to the source area and you will see how to get rid of your hemorrhoids permanently.

  2. Wyatt Said,

I’ve tried every diet known to mankind but nothing worked as effectively as acai berry. I realize they say that pills do not work, however they sure worked for me, and they have been shown on CNN too. There’s a free trial going on at the moment at http://fyriss.bestslimmingonline.info , why not try it, how worse could it make things?

  3. Joe Said,

Don’t worry. By the next election he’ll be out.

Hemorrhoids are forever unless surgically removed. They’re terrible, I know.

  5. ??The Queen Has Spoken?? Said,

If the medication your doctor has put you on was prescription then the HC component is a cortisone and it will help shrinking your hemorrhoid. Very warm sietz baths help too. Sit in water as warm as you can stand. It won’t ever go away without surgery. Once you get it under control, do keep up with high fiber diet. So that you do not become constipated. That alone can fire it back up.

  6. Renny76 Said,

I’ve also tried Anucort HC but it didn’t work very well for me. Maybe try soaking in a warm bath with Epson Salt. That usually helps me. I’ve also read that Aloe Vera gel is very helpful in easing hemorrhoid pain by cooling and helps to reduce any swelling and general discomfort. There are some other natural treatment options that you may want to check out here: http://aboutwomenshealthissues.com/natural-hemorrhoid-treatments-that-work/2010/ If you are dealing with hemorrhoids, it’s advised that you don’t drink alcoholic beverages or caffeine because both can cause constipation, which can irritate hemorrhoids. It’s also important to add fiber to your diet to prevent constipation. Hope you’re feeling better soon!

  7. Dmitry Said,

Actually medications are short term remedies, if you are talking about "shrinking away". They work as pain relievers (at least for me). For long term improvement you still have to go on natural remedies while accompaneing these with your pain relievers - http://homecuresforhemorrhoids.org.

  8. Adeane Said,

Hemorrhoids is actually an indicator of your cardiovascular health and colon health. Even if you hit on the right cream for temporary relief, it sounds like yours are persistent and you still need to address the root causes. Janet Pfeiffer is a nurse who studied 10,000 cases of hemorrhoid sufferers. You might want to read what she has to say, see below.
